Southern Moonbeam has 2 Grand Foals Showing this year!
Southern Moonbeam is a big beautiful 15.2 hand buckskin mare we purchased from Rea Swan in 2015. She is one of our family favorites to ride, as she is naturally confident and boldly goes wherever she is pointed. In 2017 Ashton showed Moonbeam in the Kansas Call to Cavalry Charity Horse Show, in 2018 Moonbeam traveled to Kentucky with us as volunteer for Ride A Rocky at the RMHA International Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Moonbeam has produced 4 outstanding foals for us. In 2016 she produced our outstanding young stallion HMH SHOOT N THE MOON, by Alliance's Gone N Dun It. Shooter is proving himself to be a talented, smooth and willing partner with many talents, as he participated in Battle Of the Breeds at Equifest of Kansas 2020, earning 4th place, and going on to compete in the Kentucky show circuit with Southern Elite Stables and wrapping up 2020 with an Open Western Pleasure Reserve Championship at the 2020 RMHA International Grand Championships.
Moonbeams 2017 foal is a beautiful dark bay mule by Hopkins Miracle Man that was sold as a yearling. Last we heard he was standing at 16 hand high as a 3 year old!
In 2018 Moonbeam produced a beautiful all black colt HMH Super Moon, by Sundown Cowboy. He was sold as a weanling to Larry Darter in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We retained breeding privileges and look forward to watching Super Moon mature into an outstanding stallion.
Southern Moonbeam was bred to R Ranger Dream Maker in September of 2019 and has produced a beautiful 2020 buckskin colt HMH Mr. Moonbeam Dreammaker. He is now a certified stallion that produced 6 beautiful foals for us; one colt and 5 fillies! FOUR of his foals are HOMOZYGOUS AGOUTI!!! Congratulations to the Gavres on their purchase of this fine stallion.
Moonbeam has a big beautiful bay gelding sired by HMH Cowboy's Heavenly Dun who is under saddle and will be available.
Southern Moonbeam now lives in Missouri and is very loved by Tabitha Hall. They had a beautiful 2024 filly born in MO by Sundown Cowboy.
